The A data EX500 external box with a black-and-red case is suitable for placing a 2.5" drive and solves the problem of connecting it to a PC or laptop. The drive located in the external box does not need to be installed inside the computer case and receives energy for operation via the USB 3.1 port. The high speed of data exchange with the PC, guaranteed by the use of the USB 3.1 port as the connection interface, makes it possible to operate not only a hard disk, but also a solid-state drive in the box. Equipped with the JMS578 controller, the A data EX500 external box makes it possible to switch from the SATA interface used in SSD drives and hard drives to the USB 3.1 interface. The corresponding cable providing interaction between the disk and the PC located in the box is included with the accessory. The outer box, the body of which is made of plastic and metal elements, has an attractive design, lightness, and ease of operation.
